The PyraWAX Ecosystem represents RePyra’s vision to build sustainable fuel solutions as an alternative energy source. We developed the PyraWAX Stove, a multi-fuel cooking system designed to provide flexibility and ease of use in everyday cooking. By processing low-value plastic waste, RePyra produces wax and plastic-derived oil used as PyraWAX Fuel—offering a more stable, affordable, and reliable fuel option. Through the PyraWAX Ecosystem, communities gain access to a cooking solution that is safe, flexible, and relevant to addressing Indonesia’s energy challenges.

Multi-Fuel Capability

The PyraWAX Stove is designed as a multi-fuel cooking system that can operate using various types of oil and wax-based fuels. In addition to PyraWAX Fuel produced by RePyra, the stove is also compatible with locally available oils and waxes, reducing dependency on a single energy source.

Highly Safe Operation

The PyraWAX fuel system operates without pressure, making it safer for everyday cooking use. The design supports closed-loop cooking systems, where heat is generated in a stable manner without direct contact with the food. RePyra is also preparing further testing for open-loop cooking systems to ensure emission safety across different usage scenarios.

The PyraWAX Stove is built using high-quality metal materials that are both durable and lightweight, designed for long-term use. Its construction has been validated through over three years of real-world operation, proving reliable under intensive usage and varying environmental conditions. The stove is equipped with a fuel tank with a capacity of approximately 1.5 liters, sufficient for daily cooking needs. The tank can be refilled directly with various types of fuel, both liquid and semi-solid. To ensure system reliability, electrical components such as the blower and fuel tank heating system are covered by a one-year warranty.

The PyraWAX Stove features a combustion system that allows precise control of both fuel and air flow. Fuel delivery to the combustion chamber can be adjusted according to cooking requirements, while an integrated overflow circulation system inside the chamber helps prevent rapid fuel depletion or spillage, maintaining combustion stability. The combustion chamber is equipped with multiple airflow adjustment options, enabling users to select flame intensity. The blower speed can be finely tuned using a potentiometer, providing detailed control over flame behavior. When operating with PyraWAX Fuel, the stove produces a stable blue flame with heat output comparable to conventional LPG stoves, while achieving up to approximately 30% higher combustion efficiency than standard gas stoves.
