Carbon Black Furnace Technology

Carbon Black Furnace Technology is a continuous furnace system developed by RePyra in collaboration with researchers to convert heavy fractions of plastic-derived oil into industrial-grade Carbon Black. This technology is designed as a specialized process within the RePyra ecosystem, with the objective of maximizing material value from pyrolysis outputs—rather than limiting their use to conventional fuel applications. Through staged research, testing, and iterative development with research partners, the system has demonstrated its capability to produce industrial Carbon Black grades such as N770 and N660. With further advancements in process control and thermal engineering, the technology is structured to continuously progress toward higher material quality and greater production precision.

RePyra Ecosystem Synergy

Carbon Black Furnace Technology serves as a strategic link between the energy and material sectors within the RePyra ecosystem. It ensures that plastic waste processing does not stop at energy production, but is further upgraded into essential functional materials for industries such as tires, inks, toners, and polymers.

With a modular design and continuous operating system, this furnace can be directly integrated with the Continuous Pyrolysis System—creating an efficient, controlled production flow that aligns with circular economy principles and emission reduction goals.
